Grace Free Lutheran, formerly Medicine Lake Lutheran Church, moved with Heritage Christian Academy, formerly Medicine Lake Lutheran Academy, to Maple Grove in 2001. Our Pastor is Peter Franz, who is rostered with the Association of Free Lutheran Congregations.
Our Mission Statement: Growing in Grace for the Glory of Jesus
"But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
To Him be glory both now and forever! Amen" (II Peter 3:18).
Because all that we are and have we owe to God's gracious favor, we desire to glorify Jesus:
· By faithfully praying for the salvation of the lost and the edification of God's people.
· By humbly praising God with a thankful heart.
· By consistently devoting ourselves to God's inerrant life-changing Word.
· By lovingly serving and encouraging one another in the body of Christ.
· By earnestly inviting others to come to Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Our Pastor Pastor Peter Franz and his wife Judy, live in Maple Grove, MN with their family. Peter was born in Michigan, but grew up in Cloquet MN. He was ordained through the Association of Free Lutheran Theological Seminary (AFLTS). He has served parishes in Minnesota, and North Dakota, before coming to serve Grace Free Lutheran of Maple Grove, MN.
