Proclaiming Jesus that All May Follow Him

Worship Services: 9 and 10:30am. Coffee Fellowship–10:00am; Sunday School-9am.

Adult Sunday School Class: The Adult Sunday School Class will feature The BASIC Collection 7-part series by Francis Chan. The BASIC series, challenges us to reclaim the simple, full, and beautiful journey of the church that is described in Scripture.

Bible Study Sacred Marriage: Roger & Lindsay Benson will be facilitating this study Sundays 9 am in room 215. Contact: Roger 612-221-5316 or Lindsay 612-269-1036.

Church Nursery: (in Library at both services) for babies and children up to 4 years old. Nursery contact Holly Westlake (763-222-7916) holly.westlake7@gmail.com.

Mid-Week Bible Study and Activities: Wednesdays 6:30 p.m. Adult Bible Study on Titus with Pastor Franz. In October Adult Class “Free Lutheran Seminary Sampler.” Youth Group and Kid’s Club gather for Bible Study and activities.                                                                                                     

Interested in providing a musical offering? Members of the Music Committee share in seeking musicians to provide music during the offering. If you are interested, Rachel Jones is scheduling October. The weekly music teams are in need of individuals to join our rotation - especially guitar, percussion, and running the presentation software from the tech booth for Sunday morning services. New Membership Information Class: Begins October 6, 9:00 a.m. with Pastor Lee Hoops and church council members. This class is for new and existing members to come get acquainted with each other and to re-acquaint themselves with that which we believe. 

Prayer Meeting: The 1st Sunday of each month 8:30 and 10:00 a.m. Room 216.                                    

Serving Committees: A new schedule will be coming out soon. Please call the church office if you would like to help serve refreshments at Grace.                              

Heritage Christian Academy: HCA provides Christian Education for students Kdg. Prep 3-Grade 12. Contact the Admissions office 763-463-2223 admissions@heritagechristianacademymn.org. to learn all about HCA's fine Christian based educational training.

WMF Bible Study: October 8, 7:00 p.m. Lesson 8 in HOPE Study at Carol Hoops.

Women’s Bible Study: Thursdays 12:30 p.m. @ VanderWerts. The ladies group will study I, II, III John. If you need a ride contact Joy.

Women's Mentoring: Older and younger women meet in mentor groups the 1st and 3rd week of every month to learn about Biblical Womanhood and there are evening and morning options. Welcome to Wednesday Church Night at Grace
6:30 – 7:30 p.m.
 
Wednesday Church night offers a variety of Bible study Classes and activities for adults, youth and children.
 
The Adult Bible Study is currently studying the book of Titus with Pastor Franz who will lead and teach this class.
In October the Adults will have a variety of teachers who
will teach a sample class that is taught at the Free Lutheran Seminary. The series is called “Free Lutheran Seminary Sampler.”  
 
Grace Youth Middle School and High School students gather for Bible Study and activities each Wednesday…meeting in the Library.
 
Kid’s Club Kindergarten – 6th grade students… the children’s curriculum is from Right Now Media. Lessons include:
 
Saving Faith – Lessons from the lives of Abraham and Sarah
Loving Obedience – Lessons from the story of Jonah
Forgiveness – Lessons from the parable of the “Unforgiving Servant” Children will meet in the choir room on the lower level.

Nursery – A nursery for children 4 years and younger is available each Wednesday night. Nursery is held on the lower level. Nursery Staff: Amy Johnson, Sarah Presteng.

Early Childhood/Pre-school – Teacher Pam Franz
Curriculum – Show Me God’s Truth which teaches the children Bible stories that show the amazing power of God and the great love He has shown in sending Jesus to be our Savior.
5’s, Kindergarten, 1st Grade – Teachers Amy Johnson and Sarah Rieschl – Curriculum – Teach Me God’s Word. The lessons teach about the person and life of Jesus, that nurturer a personal relationship with Jesus as Savior and Friend.
2nd and 3rd Grade Class – Teacher Ben Floan - Curriculum – The Ten Commandments study with applications appropriate for children. Lesson Books: Lord, Guide My Ways; Lord, I Love You; Lord, Keep Me Holy.
4th Grade Class – Teacher: Mike Franz - Curriculum: The Apostles’ Creed. Bible Lessons based on the three Articles of Faith: The Father (Creator); The Son (Redeemer); The Holy Spirit (Sanctifier).
5th and 6th Grade Class – Teacher: Corey Berge - Curriculum:  Journey Through the New Testament: A chronological overview of the New Testament highlighting God’s Word while learning about the geography and culture of the New Testament times.
Confirmation Class 7th and 8th Grade – Teacher: Pastor Adam Osier Curriculum: Foundations of the Faith/This Is Most Certainly True. Based on Luther’s Small Catechism as its structure and using Scripture as the primary text. Lessons on the Authority of Scripture, the Ten Commandments, and the Apostles’ Creed with a focus on Law and Gospel.
Jr. and Sr. High Sunday School Class: Teacher: Daniel Presteng. Beginning with the book of ACTS study and then Daniel will presenting a RightNow Video series on The Gospel of Mark, featuring Francis Chan in an 11-week Bible study, filmed on location in Israel.
